FCC considers new rules to stop the scammers from hijacking the cell phone.

 SIM swapping and port-out fraud can be fatal to your personal information. The FCC is looking for new rules to amend for the tightening security around your data and phones in order to prevent the sim swapping and port out frauds in which fraudsters can access the personal information and phone number for nefarious purposes. The agency revealed that it has received numerous complaints from the consumers and has suffered financial harm and significant distress due to this. Sim swapping is when someone hijacks your phone number to interfere with the two-factor authentication code(which you use to verify login access or account access). The anonymous access the phones and sends the data to the other device without the user's consent and permissions and they even won't know that their data are exposed. Why Do 'OTHERS' in phone takes up your massive space?

 We all have smartphones and we are using them each and every second for our work, entertainment, news, and other stuff. It's impossible to imagine a life without it in the current time. We buy a phone and just after a moment your phone starts slowing down and you start clearing your phone storage or some try to reset it. Many of you would have noticed in the storage section that an 'Other' option available shows the massive data stored in our phone. People often get confused about it that they haven't stored anything despite it. It is showing us the coverage of massive space. So the question arises what is it? What does it contain? Let's take a cup of coffee or tea and chill. No need to worry about it.


 

If we click on the other option it doesn't give many details. It just says cache, logs, and other resources are in use. Once again the term Other "LOL!".

What are logs?

Logs are a record of action taken by our phones. Like keeping a record of connected wifi or Bluetooth to a device. In most cases, it is backed-up data or browsed web data. But in general, it doesn't cover many spaces.

What is cache?

The cache is the component that stores the data for future reference to open your data fastly without a buffer. But most of the problem occurs due to it covering the massive space of whatever the apps maybe. 
Whenever we stream data into youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and other apps. The data is stored in the cache so that if in the future we open them we don't have to suffer a buffer. When we browse the data is stored into it to load the faster results and provide you within a second. 
Surprisingly, what makes it store so much data that we are not left with any spaces. Let's talk about the social media apps like youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. These are the apps that people use frequently. They are the image-based apps that require some space to load it somewhere i.e. cache and we all know these are the apps where trillions of images and videos are being uploaded on the daily basis so where will be the data stored. Obviously in your phone's storage. 

How to clear it?

The best method is to minimize the apps which are not in use for that time. Minimizing will help us to free the space for that time being and will not slow your device. One may also clear the data of apps by tapping on Clear Cache or Clear All Data option available in the settings. But it might remove your all personal records for that time to whatever the sites you were logged in to or your history related to it. It's good for the one who doesn't care for the data or history. 

How to stop it from 'recreating'?

See it will be created in the future references also so no need to worry about it because there are no other places where your device will store these data. But the only thing you can do is to minimize or force stop the apps which are not in use manually. It'll save your space much than your need. 

One can try the cloud services to store their data online which may save up your real storage option and can provide your device a space to store the caches and will eventually faster your device.

You may also on the options which automatically clean the cache and data periodically.
